Dixit, who has served as Vice Chief of the Air Staff, brings more than 35 years of flying experience.
He has logged over 3,500 hours on aircraft such as Mirage‑2000, MiG variants, Jaguar and Tejas.
His career includes participation in operations like Sated Sagar, Rakshak and Sindoor, and he has received four distinguished service medals.
