Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth will start the exercise.
It is the 12th National Maritime Search and Rescue Exercise.
The drill will happen off the coast of Paradip on October 7‑8.
Fifteen coast guard ships, navy ships, transport airplanes and helicopters will join.
Thirty‑two observers from thirty countries will watch the practice.
A pretend passenger plane with 228 people will land in the sea and a cargo ship will collide.
The goal is to practice quick teamwork among sea and air rescue groups.
Ships, airplanes, and helicopters will practice saving people together. 🚁
Friends from 30 countries will watch and learn how to help. 🌍
They will pretend a plane lands in the water with many people on board. ✈️
The teams will practice working fast to keep everyone safe. ⏱️
