The drive test covered 308 kilometres of city routes, ten hotspot locations and 1.6 kilometres of walk tests.

Coverage gaps were identified where signal strength fell below required levels.
Download speeds ranged from about 12 to 221 megabits per second; upload speeds ranged from 4 to 21 megabits per second.

The assessment examined coverage, call setup success, dropped calls, call silence, speech quality, download and upload speeds, latency, jitter and packet loss across second to fifth generation networks.
Airtel recorded no dropped calls and moderate speeds, while Reliance Jio achieved the highest download speed of 221 megabits per second.
The detailed report is available on the regulator’s website for consumers and has been shared with the service providers for improvement.
