Four major road projects were launched in the capital.
Barapullah Phase 3 is an elevated road linking east and south Delhi.
It creates a signal‑free route between Mayur Vihar Phase‑1 and All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Two additional flyovers and an underpass on the Outer Ring Road aim to cut congestion.
The biggest project is a new high road that will join the east and south parts of the city.
It will connect Mayur Vihar Phase‑1 with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences without traffic lights.
Two more small bridges and a tunnel are also being built to reduce traffic jams.
