‘Sagar Manthan’ is India’s first domestically built advanced Ocean Research Vessel.

Can launch Remotely Operated Vehicles and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles for deep‑sea exploration.
Will replace the old ‘Sagar Kanya’ and support studies of climate, tsunamis and marine resources.
