Two books were released: a biography of Dr Bhupen Hazarika and the fifth edition of Chandrakanta Abhidan.
The development will add an academic building, a boys' hostel, a modern dining hall, an international students' hostel, and upgraded library and auditorium facilities.
Renovations also include the Krishna Kanta Handique Library‑seminar hall and the Birinchi Barua auditorium, plus new residential quarters for D‑Grade staff.
At the event, two books—a biography of musician Dr Bhupen Hazarika and the fifth edition of Chandrakanta Abhidan—were released.
