Teachers from any school are now allowed to be census workers.
Clerks and officials from government offices, banks, and companies can also help.
State and Union Territory leaders can add any suitable person they think is right.
The goal is to have a bigger team to get a better count of everyone.
Census workers go door‑to‑door to write down how many people live in each house.
More people helping means the count will be more accurate for planning schools, roads and hospitals.
Each state can also decide who else can join the counting team.
