Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur created an artificial‑intelligence learning assistant.
The assistant is free and works with the National Digital Library of India.
It offers a ‘Scan and Ask’ feature for physics, chemistry, maths and biology problems.
A separate free online platform prepares students for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and the Joint Admission Test for Masters.
The tools aim to help students from all areas, especially those who cannot afford expensive coaching.
It works on the big Indian online library that many students use.
Students can scan a problem and ask the robot for hints.
The teacher helps kids practice for big exams without paying money.
It encourages kids to think and try solving on their own.
