The gathering featured sports such as Mallakhamb, Yoga, Kalaripayattu from India; Capoeira and log races from Brazil; Wushu and Lion Dance from China; and many others.
India’s youth sports program, known as the ‘Khelo India’ initiative, has allocated roughly three point seven six billion U.S. dollars to develop sports infrastructure and opportunities.
The event emphasized using sport to strengthen cultural ties and promote inclusive participation across the member nations.
The ministers proposed a voluntary online repository to document the history, rules, and equipment of each sport.
Future plans include exchanges among coaches, researchers, and schools, and regular demonstrations at international sporting events.
